Club Barbeque and Learn to Row Graduation – Saturday June 21st

It’s time to get together and celebrate the start of the 2014 season

and all of our new Learn to Row graduates!

We’re looking for volunteers for our first Club Barbeque coming up on at the Charlottetown Yacht Club on Saturday June 21st from 11 :30 a.m. – 1 :00 p.m.

The club will be providing the hamburgers and hot dogs.  We will be asking for donations of other food items and beverages from members.

Ruth Quilty will be keeping track of the food contributions. We will also need a couple of people to help set up on the day, someone to barbeque and a clean up crew.

We will be handing out certificates to our Learn to Row participants as part of the event.  We will need a volunteer photographer to help out with this part of the day.

Also, does anyone have any pitchers to mix the lemonade?  We are also looking for griddles, for pancakes, for another upcoming event.  Lots of opportunities to help out!!!

Here’s a list of what we need for the June 21st barbeque:

3 dozen hot dog buns
3 dozen hamburger buns
condiments – ketchup, mustard, relish
frozen lemonade or fruit punch (4 cans)
2 dozen bottled water
2 dozen bottled water
potato chips (3 bags)
cheese plate
pickles, onions, tomatoes sliced
fruit tray
Anything else we’re missing???

Any leftovers will be used for our club barbeque in July!

Please RSVP to

Saturday June 21st is also the Summer Solstice…the first day of summer. This will be a great way to celebrate.
