The Thanksgiving weekend marks the official end to our 2015 rowing season. It has been a great one – our best yet! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it a success…from our Board, to all of the safeties, Learn to Row coaches, volunteers at the Row-deo and anyone who lifted a boat in or out of the water. You are all part of what keeps Rowing P.E.I. afloat and we couldn’t do it without you!
A special thanks to the work crew who came out on Saturday to help put the boats away. It is true that many hands make light work and that’s how it happened on Saturday! Thank you to: Brian, Dinah, Kaleigh, Russ, Stacey, Eugenie, Daphne, Vivian, Jason, Heather, Tristan, Nancy R, Nancy M, Mike, Nathan, Ernie, Greg and Mary Lynne. You will see -below – the trailer being maneuvered into our new storage barn. And check out the new roof! (It’s not the same barn as last year – but we are excited that it has a particularly sturdy roof…)
Here are some photos of the team in action:
Thanks to everyone who helped out this season.
Stay tuned for winter training news – and a Dooley’s pool night coming up in November.
