Many thanks to crew at The Lost Anchor in Cavendish!

The Canada Games training team had a fantastic lobster supper fundraiser on Father’s Day, Sunday June 19th – and we have many people to thank.

Biggest thanks to Miranda Ellis and Jamie Newson (and Kaleigh Peters!) for offering to organize this fundraiser! It was a ton of work just as they were about to open for the season. We really appreciate the opportunity. And we hope that our Rowing P.E.I. members and families will drop in to The Lost Anchor this summer to show our support for their wonderful restaurant.

It’s The Lost Anchor Pub & Galley, at the corner of Routes 6 and 13, called Cavendish Corner.  You turn as if you were going towards Cavendish Beach and it’s on the right, behind the Dirt Shirt store.

Other thanks:
Eric C. Robinson Inc.
Covehead Rover
MR Seafood
Cathy MacAusland

Also, many thanks to the volunteers who peeled and chopped potatoes, put together the lobster suppers and handed them out.  I don’t have pictures of everyone but here are a few.

Thanks again!
Nancy – on behalf of the Canada Games rowing training team 2017
