Learn to Row 2021 *ages 21 and over
The Learn to Row program is mandatory for anyone new to the sport.
The LTR program will start in May 2021, learning technique on the indoor rowing machine and important safety training.
In June, the LTR program moves to our home base at the Charlottetown Yacht Club. Participants will receive on-the-dock instruction and 3 open water sessions with Learn to Row coaches.
At the end of your three on-the-water LTR sessions, you become a Level 1 (L1). Then you move on to L2 Training.
L2 Training is four sessions in a double with a coach or L2 trainer. They will take you through a checklist of skills to take you to the L2 level.
Once you are an L2, you will be able to navigate a boat on your own and move to a coastal single, or continue in a double or quad as part of the club or coached rows. If you need more than 4 rows, you can continue in the L2 training as needed.
Convert from L2 Training to Full Membership 2021
The L2 Training is four sessions for $110. After 4 sessions, you can become a full member for the rest of the session for $110. It’s called Convert to Full Membership.
